Linzhou City is famous for the "Marvel of the World" Red Flag Canal Project. From the early 70s of the last century, the auto parts industry in Linzhou started to develop. In recent years, the scale of the cluster has been initially formed with Yaocun as the center. The production of parts and components is mainly based on Casting and machining, and the assembly is supplemented by assembly. At present, there are 520 auto parts processing enterprises in the city, with an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons for castings and 150,000 units for water tanks. The output accounts for more than 40% of the national aftermarket aftermarket truck accessories, and it is the prototype of auto parts industry base. On this basis, Linzhou City will accelerate the development of parts and components industry in five areas.

According to Linzhou City Party Committee, the relevant government officials, first of all, Linzhou City will give full play to the advantages of ductile iron, Shanxi coal, and casting technical talents to form leading industries, accelerate industrial upgrading, and realize the automobile industry chain. shift.
